Since 1986, Spark Employment Services has stood alongside Greater Sudbury’s workforce through industry shifts, economic change, and evolving workplaces. What began as the Sudbury Vocational Resource Centre during a time of mining restructuring has grown into a community-driven force for connection, opportunity, and belonging.

Clocking In!, presented by Technica Mining, is a live, local theatrical experience set in the Sudbury Community Arena during a celebratory, high-energy open hockey match. Everyone who has ever worked with Spark is invited to this 40th Anniversary Celebration, where friends, families, and coworkers come together to reflect on the changing history of work in Sudbury and imagine what the future might hold, while honouring the real stories, resilience, and partnerships that have shaped our community.
