Since 1986, Spark Employment Services has stood alongside Greater Sudbury’s workforce, through industry shifts, economic change, and evolving workplaces. What began as the Sudbury Vocational Resource Centre during a time of mining restructuring has grown into a community-driven force for connection, opportunity, and belonging.
From the buzz of dial-up internet to today’s digital world, one thing has remained constant: work is where our stories unfold. And this milestone is about honoring those stories.
Not Your Typical Gala
Clocking In! is not a formal dinner or a traditional anniversary event.
It’s a live theatrical experience—rooted in real stories, shaped by local voices, and brought to life by Sudbury artists. Created by the community, for the community, this production transforms 40 years of service into a shared experience. It’s where art meets insight, and where reflection becomes conversation about the future of work in our region.
