Ethier and Gravel is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated employee with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Customer Service and Sales Coordinator We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Sales Coordinator. As a Customer Service and Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, managing sales inquiries, and coordinating order fulfillment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and online chat inquiries from customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with the sales team to process sales orders and coordinate order fulfillment, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, order details, and sales data in the ERP system
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to effectively assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to track order status, inventory levels, and shipping schedules.
- Assist with managing customer accounts including credit applications and payment processing.
- Provide support to the outside sales team, including preparing sales reports, proposals, and quotations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and customer service enhancements to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in customer service and inside sales coordination, preferably in the construction or aggregate industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business tools.
- Knowledge of construction material, aggregate products, and their applications is a strong asset.
